Bathroom Remodel Software for Contractors: What You Need and What It Costs

Bathroom remodel software covers three jobs: showing the client the finished bathroom, pricing it, and running the remodel from tear-out to final walk. Here's what each one needs, the tools contractors use, what they cost, and where Remodel in 360 fits.

Quick answer

Bathroom remodel software is any software that helps a contractor sell, plan or run a bathroom remodel. Design tools (Planner 5D, Houzz Pro 3D, Chief Architect) draw the layout. Project management tools (Projul, JobTread, Houzz Pro) handle estimates, selections, scheduling and job costing. Sales visuals like Remodel in 360 show the client their own bathroom finished: 2 phone photos become a 360° before & after tour in about 6 minutes (first tour free, then from $49/month).

No card. No app to install. About 6 minutes from photos to tour.

What is bathroom remodel software?

It's the software a contractor uses to win and deliver bathroom jobs. Bathrooms are small but dense: a tub or shower, tile, glass, vanity, fixtures, plumbing, ventilation and lighting in 40 or 50 square feet, often with 6 or more trades. That's why selections, trade sequencing and showing the client the result matter more here than on most jobs.

There are three kinds: design software to plan the layout, project management software to price and run the job, and sales visuals to get the client to say yes. Most contractors use two of the three.

What should bathroom remodel software do?

How does Remodel in 360 show the client their finished bathroom?

  1. Take 2 photos

From the doorway and from the far corner, with your normal phone camera. No 360 camera, no tripod.

  2. Say what changes

Type or dictate it: "tub out, walk-in shower, white tile to the ceiling, keep the vanity". You get a clear change list to confirm.

  3. Send the tour

About 6 minutes later you have a 360° before & after tour with every change labeled, plus before/after sliders and one link for WhatsApp, text or email.

Unlike design software, there's nothing to draw. You list what changes ("tub out, curbless shower, glass panel, tile to the ceiling") and what stays ("keep the vanity and mirror"), and the tour shows that plan in the client's real bathroom, each change labeled. Each tour includes 2 change rounds, about 2 minutes each.

Which bathroom remodels benefit most from a visual?

How do you keep a bathroom remodel on budget?

  • Lock selections before demo, and get the client to approve them against a visual
  • Price allowances for tile and fixtures, and write change orders for anything above them
  • Order long-lead items (vanity, glass, special tile) as soon as the contract is signed
  • Photograph rough plumbing, electrical and waterproofing before walls are closed
  • Track actual cost against the estimate on every job

Bathroom remodels cost about $100 to $500 per square foot, or $3,500 to $25,000+ for an average 35 to 50 square foot bathroom, according to HomeGuide (checked October 2026).
