What does Houzz Pro include, and what does it cost?
Houzz Pro is an all-in-one platform for builders, remodelers and designers: leads and a profile on Houzz, CRM, estimates and proposals with takeoffs, 3D floor plans, mood boards and selections, project management, client dashboards and payments.
On its website (October 2026) Houzz Pro lists a free plan, Design at $99/month, Pro at $199/month and Teams from $399/month, with extra users at $50 each. Advertising for more Houzz leads is a separate cost.
Should you switch from Houzz Pro?
Ask the question behind the question: are the Houzz leads producing signed work? If yes, stay, or keep Houzz Pro for leads and run projects elsewhere. If no, you're paying for a marketing engine you aren't using, and a specialist tool will usually do the part you actually use better and for less.
| If you mainly use Houzz Pro for… | Consider | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Leads | Stay, or compare lead sources | The Houzz homeowner network is its biggest advantage |
| Project management | JobTread, Projul or Buildertrend | Deeper scheduling, job costing and client portals for remodels |
| Small jobs and service visits | Jobber | Simple quoting, scheduling and invoicing |
| Interior design studio work | Programa, Studio Designer, DesignFiles | Built around FF&E, specs and design billing |
| Showing clients the design to win the job | Remodel in 360 | The client's own room finished in 360°, in minutes |

Prices from each company's pricing page, checked October 2026. They change, so confirm before you buy. Houzz Pro and the other names are trademarks of their owners; we're not related to any of them. We make Remodel in 360, so weigh our view of our own product accordingly.
1. Remodel in 360: best for closing kitchen and bath sales
Many contractors pay for Houzz Pro mostly for the 3D floor plans, to help clients picture the remodel. Remodel in 360 does that part faster and on the real room: take 2 phone photos, say what changes, and about 6 minutes later the client walks through their own room in 360°, before and after, every change labeled. No floor plan to draw.
At our own remodeling company, our close rate went from 3 in 10 estimates to 5–6 in 10 after we started sending 360° tours.
- Their actual room, not a drawn model
- 2 change rounds per tour, about 2 minutes each
- One link for WhatsApp, text or email, no app for your client
- Plans: Starter $49/month (4 tours), Pro $99 (12), Team $249 (35). See pricing
The tradeoff: no leads, CRM, estimating or project management. Pair it with JobTread, Projul or Buildertrend, or keep Houzz Pro for leads.

Which alternatives are best for remodelers and builders?
2. JobTread
Estimates, proposals with e-signature, job costing and a client portal at a lower starting price. $199/month plus $20 per internal user, no contract or setup fee.
3. Projul
Simple scheduling, estimating, invoicing and a lead pipeline. Starter is $199/month billed yearly for up to 3 users; change orders start on Core at $399/month.
4. Buildertrend
The most complete platform for residential builders and remodelers: schedules, selections, change orders, financials and a client portal, from $499/month. See remodeling contractor software.
5. Jobber
Quoting, scheduling and invoicing for service businesses and small repair jobs, from $49/month for one user. Less suited to multi-week remodels.
Which alternatives are best for interior designers?
6. Programa
Studio management for interior designers: projects, specs and client approvals.
7. Studio Designer
Project management with strong accounting for design firms.
8. DesignFiles
Mood boards, 3D room design and client presentations for designers.
Designers often keep Houzz Pro for leads and run studio operations in one of these.
How do you choose the right Houzz Pro alternative?
Check your lead results
Count signed jobs from Houzz leads in the last 6 months. That tells you whether to keep it.
List what you actually use
Most people use 2 or 3 features. Choose a tool that's strongest at those.
Price the real setup
Count users, add-ons and any separate advertising.
Don't lose the visual
If 3D floor plans helped you sell, replace them with something that shows the finished room.
When should you stay with Houzz Pro?
If Houzz leads bring you signed work, the homeowner network is hard to replace. Many contractors keep Houzz Pro for leads and add a specialist tool for the part it does less well, such as job costing or a faster visual for the sales visit.
