What counts as a 360 photo
A 360° photo is stored as one flat image twice as wide as it is tall (2:1), called equirectangular. Most 360 cameras export this format when you save a photo as a "360 photo" or "panorama".
Regular phone panoramas aren't full 360 photos, so they won't look right in a 360 viewer.

For contractors
360 photos are great for job-site records and showing finished work. To win the job in the first place, show the client their room after the remodel. At our own remodeling company, our close rate went from 3 in 10 estimates to 5–6 in 10 after we started sending 360° tours.
