Why three options

One price gets a yes or a no, and gets compared with the other bids. Three options turn it into "which one?". Most clients pick the middle one, so make that the one you recommend.

Keep the difference between options easy to see: what's added at each level, not three long lists that look alike.

What a good remodeling estimate includes

  • Your company name, phone, email and license number
  • The client's name, project address and a date the price is valid until
  • A short opening note in the client's words: why they want the remodel
  • Options with a clear price and what each includes
  • What's not included, and how changes and hidden damage are handled
  • A payment schedule and a place to choose an option and sign

Tips for presenting it

Present it in person or on a call when you can, and show the finished room before the price. If you have to email it, lead with something they can look at, then the PDF.

Send the estimate with a tour of the finished room

Clients pick the option they can see. Send a 360° tour of their room with your recommended option. Your first tour is free.
